Priya Khatri (soprano) is currently in her final year pursuing an Honours BMus in Voice Performance at Wilfrid Laurier University, under the guidance of Jennie Such. Throughout her musical journey she has performed in various styles and genres of music including Classical/Opera, Musical Theatre, Pop/Jazz, and Bollywood. Priya has embraced numerous performance opportunities both within and beyond the university setting including choir ensembles, music competitions and festivals, as well as self-produced concerts. Her musical journey recently took her overseas as she completed a semester abroad at the Conservatoire de Lyon in France, an experience she is immensely grateful for. Apart from her endeavours on stage, Priya holds a profound passion for teaching, with a keen interest in vocal pedagogy. She is enthusiastic about turning music education into an enjoyable and engaging experience.
