Originally from Vancouver, BC, Lucy Li began learning to play piano at the age of 11. In only 5 years, she progressed from beginner lessons to completing her grade 10 practical and theory exams in 2013. During this time she performed at various local music festivals, sponsored by BC Registered Music Teachers Association, BC Chinese Music Association, Kiwanis Music Festival, etc., earning several awards.

Following two years studying piano pedagogy with the RCM, Lucy began her degree study at Laurier University. She has just finished her first-year courses and will be moving on with a Piano Performance major in September. Lucy is registered to take the ARCT Performers Exam this August (2021). 

Lucy believes that everyone should be able to enjoy a life fulfilled by music!
