Khang is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Arts. He started his classical guitar training under the tutelage of Magdalena Tomsinska and later on with Terry McKenna. During his studies he volunteered to teach with the then newly founded Community Music School of the Waterloo Region. Khang holds a deep love of teaching and later on went to teach overseas after graduating. He also enjoys playing electric bass in addition to guitar.
